How a typical maintenance request flows
Four steps. No new logins for your contractors after the first invite.
- Step 1
Post the issue
PM creates a question scoped to their network. Photos, urgency, and unit reference attached.
- Step 2
Contractors quote privately
Each contractor in the network sees the request and submits a private bid only the PM can see.
- Step 3
PM accepts a quote
Accepted quote becomes a tracked booking. The other contractors get a polite “not selected” notice.
- Step 4
Pay outside the platform
Contractor drops in a Stripe Invoicing, QuickBooks, or Zelle link. Either party marks it paid when funds clear.
What we're explicitly not doing
We've scoped the pilot deliberately so the tool is genuinely useful without trying to be everything to everyone. If any of these are dealbreakers, this isn't the right fit yet — and we'd still love to hear from you.
- We are not a contractor referral service. You bring your own contractors.
- We are not a payment processor or escrow. Money flows directly between you and your contractor.
- We are not background-check or insurance verification — that’s your existing diligence.
- We are not enterprise software. If you have 500+ units and use AppFolio, you are out of scope for now.
- We do not have SMS yet. Notifications are email and in-app only during the pilot.
